Stone look wall panels are dimensionally stable wall elements with a photorealistic natural-stone surface. Unlike real stone slabs, they weigh only a fraction and can be mounted without scaffolding, without adhesives and without a specialist tradesperson. Our NordPaneele panels are built around an SPC core (Stone Polymer Composite) — a blend of ground limestone and polymer — with a high-resolution printed decor layer and a PU wear layer on top.
The result: a wall that looks like genuine marble, concrete or travertine — finished in 45 minutes, not three weeks.
Installation
Stone-effect wall panels come with two fixing systems: self-adhesive and drop-click. Self-adhesive stone-effect wall panels suit small, smooth surfaces and quick accents — they bond directly to a sound, grease-free substrate. For larger walls, wet rooms and a long-lasting hold, the drop-click system is the better choice.
Our NordPaneele panels use the drop-click system: the 4 mm SPC panels click together with a tool-free tongue-and-groove joint and tolerate unevenness up to 3 mm. The result is a seamless, 100% waterproof wall — no adhesive, no specialist, finished in under an hour.

The 0.3 mm PU seal makes the surface scratch-resistant and low-maintenance — substantially more robust than real polished marble tiles, which are acid-sensitive. Cleaned with a standard microfibre cloth and pH-neutral cleaner, they last 15–20 years without visible wear.
Yes. SPC is 100% waterproof and absorbs no moisture. The click joints are tight; when installed correctly with silicone along the edges, panels are a fully valid shower wall lining.
No. The drop-click system tolerates unevenness up to 3 mm without issue. Existing tile work is no reason for demolition — panels can be installed directly over it, as long as the tiles are firmly bonded.
