Slate means permanence and tectonic depth — a material formed under enormous pressure in nature that carries exactly that character into any interior. Our slate-effect wall panels translate this texture into a 100% waterproof SPC panel: no grout lines, no sealing, no restrictions in wet areas. The split-face texture is embossed, not applied — it captures light and shadow in three dimensions.

The SPC core absorbs zero moisture. Ideal for bathrooms, showers and kitchens.
Much slimmer than real slate tiles — fits even in shallow wall build-ups.
Drop-click quick connection. No adhesives, no grout, no specialist contractor.
Flame-retardant. Suitable for commercial spaces and escape routes.
Textured PU coating with split-face structure — feels like real slate, not like vinyl film.

Slate effect is not a neutral backdrop — it makes a statement. The irregular split texture and the gradient from anthracite through dark grey to black creates a visual depth that smooth surfaces cannot match. Light is not reflected uniformly but broken — different times of day make the same room feel different.
In contrast to marble or concrete effect, slate effect represents raw, untamed natural material. It fits in modern industrial lofts as much as in minimalist Nordic bathrooms or wellness areas with a dark atmosphere.
The wet area is the natural territory for slate effect — dark tones and moisture work together, not against each other. The PU wear layer of our SPC panels is waterproof right down to the substrate: no swelling, no discolouration, no silicone lines across the wall surface. The only silicone line: at the shower tray edge.
Unlike real slate tiles, the panels do not need sealing, maintenance or impregnation. A damp cloth is sufficient for everyday cleaning. The surface remains permanently matt and grout-free — even after years in the shower cubicle.
Slate-effect wall cladding does not have to end in the bathroom. As a feature wall behind the sofa or television it creates a visual anchor zone that structures the room without overwhelming it. The deep anthracite of the slate effect lets warm wood tones and light furniture stand out — a combination referred to in interior design as a 'dark anchor'.
Click installation allows fitting on any flat substructure — plasterboard, timber battens, existing wall. No professional required, no drying time, no mould risk from adhesive layers.
