Why marble look panels instead of real marble?
Real marble is magical — and demanding. It weighs 25–30 kg per m², is acid-sensitive, stains readily from red wine or citrus cleaners, and costs €400–800 per m² installed. For a 3 m² vanity wall you're looking at €1,200–2,400 in materials, plus scaffolding and installation time.
Marble look wall panels deliver the same visual result for a fraction — €50–70 per m², 4 mm thick, acid-resistant, waterproof. The photorealistic print is derived directly from scans of real stone slabs; no two panels show identical veining.
Which marble looks does NordPaneele carry?
Carrara Bianco: the classic — brilliant white with fine grey veining. Timeless and neutral, it suits any interior style.
Statuario: more dramatic veining, richer grey nuances. Ideal for accent walls and rooms with a modern, minimalist feel.
Calacatta Oro: warm white base with gold and anthracite-grey veins. The luxury option — perfect for master bathrooms and high-end living spaces.
Onyx Bianco: more vertical veining, almost crystalline. Particularly striking with indirect lighting that brings the veins to life.
Bianco Luminoso: brighter than Carrara, with an almost seamless-looking base. Perfect for small rooms you want to visually expand.
Glossy or matte — which finish?
Glossy (Glossy collection) reflects light and makes spaces feel more generous. Ideal for bathrooms, hallways and rooms with limited daylight that benefit from extra reflection. One caveat: glossy shows dust and fingerprints more clearly — rarely an issue in a private home, but in high-traffic commercial spaces matte is the better call.
Matte (Matte collection) feels more restrained, more natural, more tactile. It doesn't glare. Ideal for living rooms, bedrooms and anywhere you want visual calm. Also easier to live with day to day.
